Bill Maher: Constitution needs a ‘rewrite,’ refers to Second Amendment as ‘bullsh**’

Bill Maher thinks the Constitution is full of “sh**.”

The far left entertainer wants both the Second Amendment and equal representation in the Senate struck from the United States Constitution because those parts of the Constitution are “bullish**” and it “needs a page one rewrite.”

“So much of it [Constitution] does need a page-one rewrite, including that bullsh** about the Senate and the Second Amendment,” he said during his HBO show “Real Time with Bill Maher” on Friday. “Both of them should go and a lot of other sh** in there,” he said.

“The Constitution, contrary to the beliefs of so many Tea Baggers, was not brought to us directly by Jesus,” he added. He later stated that the Senate is where “progress goes to die.”

After the gun bill expanding background checks was shot down last week in the Senate, Maher insisted equal representation was to blame.

“The Constitution, the tiny states with no people in them, they have just as much representation,” he argued. “Did you know that [Sen.] Heidi Heitkamp, one of the people who voted for this, was elected by 166,000 people? [Sen.] Dianne Feinstein, here in California, 7.5 million.” It just so happens he also hails from California.

Despite the fact they’ve been dead and buried for more than 200 years, Maher is convinced the founding fathers would not have been for assault weapons.

“The Founding Fathers could not have foreseen AK-47s,” he added.

And to think just a month ago, Maher threatened that the liberals could actually lose him.
