President Obama’s approval rating among young Americans plummets to all-time low

President Obama has hit his own rock bottom when it comes to approval ratings among Millennials in America.

According to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, Obama’s approval rating among Americans ages 18-29 currently sits at 43 percent and thus matches his all-time low for this age group.

Obama achieved his last 43-percent approval rating among Millennials in November of last year amid the disastrous rollout of the Obamacare website HealthCare.gov, as the Washington Post points out.

What should most disturb Obama, though, is the fact that his approval rating among these young Americans stood at a lofty 84 percent at the conception of his presidency in 2009.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Among all adults, 42 percent approve of the president and a whopping 54 percent disapprove. And, 39 of that 54 percent say they “strongly” disapprove of Obama.

The president’s approval ratings on crucial issues are even more dismal. For instance, his approval rating for the job he’s doing on the economy is 35 percent, that for his handling of foreign affairs is 36 percent, that for his immigration decisions is 41 percent and that for his health care policy is 41 percent, as of last month.
