A twitter town hall for young people to discuss “Democratic efforts” to prevent student loan interest rates from doubling was hijacked by Republicans Wednesday.
What was meant to be a platform for student to #AskDems, including Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), James Clyburn (D-S.C.) and John Larson (D-Conn.), about the student loan issue that is set to double in July turned into a grilling of House Democrats.
