During the Iowa Caucus, surrogates for the Republican candidates had to stand in front of the audience and deliver a message on behalf of their candidate. A Jeb! Bush supporter probably had the most memorable speech of them all.
Pete Wachsberger, a little person, announced to the crowd in Boone County, Iowa that supporting Jeb! had been a journey for him and forced him to move past his own personal bias.

“One more very personal note,” Wachsberger said at Monday’s Iowa Caucus. “Governor Bush is the tallest of the candidates. That if I am to be an example in any form let that form be the fact that I have managed to overcome my personal prejudice and still support him.”
