Things got a little political, well sort of, from Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen for Super Bowl 50. In light of the divide from Americans when it comes to politics, the two comedians declared they were forming their own political party, the “Bud Light Party.”
The ad also featured actors Michael Peña, asking a crowded bar to “be quiet,” since “Seth and Amy are talking about our country.”
Some of the things Seth and Amy claim Americans all like (which does not include, as Peña guessed, raccoons, or, as a random farmer guessed, emojis) included Paul Rudd, who was also in the ad, and beer.
Since it must be in Amy Schumer’s contractual obligations to make a dick joke just about every time she opens her mouth, she made one. “Just wait ’til you see her caucus.” When Seth claimed it’s “the biggest caucus in the country,” Amy jumped in to counter that “it’s not like too big. You can handle it.”
Many quickly noted the eyeroll dick joke, including Ben Shapiro.
Hey, look, Amy Schumer made a penis joke! She never does that!

Seth went on to shout out quotes from Independence Day, including:
He did admit to Amy that he was just quoting the movie, but Michael Peña still declared in awe “I’m so inspired right now.”
Well, America will hopefully be inspired not to vote for such a party or such jokers ever. Unfortunately, the pro-abortion group NARAL took the ad a little too seriously, as they did for countless others, and managed to find support for reproductive rights somewhere in there to further their own agenda:
LOVE the @amyschumer & @Sethrogen @budlight ad! ? Americans do agree on many things – esp the need for #reprofreedom! #MediaWeLike

USA Today’s ad meter placed the ad in the 21st ranking of 63 ranked ads.
