The niche enthusiasts desperate for Elizabeth Warren to say “I’m running for president” are taking advantage of Hillary Clinton’s email controversy to turn up the noise.

In a Friday email, Ready For Warren wrote that recent events have made it clear the Massachusetts senator’s presence in the 2016 race is needed.

“If these past two weeks have shown us anything, it’s just how badly we need Elizabeth Warren in this race,” the group stated. “For 11 straight days, the political world has been focused on nothing but the controversy over Hillary Clinton’s decision to use private email to conduct her business as Secretary of State. And while there are real issues about transparency and open government to consider, it’s drowned out all discussion of anything else.”

The “anything else” Warren has been promoting of late includes her Middle Class Prosperity Project, which she is using to tout a series of policy objectives she failed to achieve last year, as well as to sharply rip the new Republican majority in both chambers of Congress.

“I have a message for my Republican colleagues. You control Congress. Stop talking about helping the middle class, and start doing it. Close tax loopholes, raise the minimum wage, cut student loan interest rates, raise Social Security payments, fund our schools and our highways and medical research,” she said recently.

Warren has failed to unequivocally, totally, “Don’t ever ask me again” deny she’s running for president next year.
