Trump reveals his plan to win over millennials

Republican frontrunner Donald Trump is hoping that his celebrity and business background will help him gain traction with millennial voters.

In an interview with The Hill, the billionaire said that young people commonly ask him about The Apprentice and how they can get a job on his campaign, some even hand him their resume.

“I do great with the younger voters,” Trump said to The Hill. “We have a lot of young people going to the events — millennials being defined as young… I don’t what else to say — there’s something out there. You see it with the crowds.”

Trump said he hopes that the release of his student loan debt proposal will help bring even more millennials into his campaign.

His policy positions which have been geared towards immigration, crime, and job opportunity rather than sticking to talking points on social issues and nation building.

While few polls have singled out how millennials plan to vote, a Fox News poll found that 40 percent of Generation-Y would vote for Trump, 43 percent would back Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical general election matchup.

In the GOP primary, Trump has been consistently winning the millennial vote in the polls–with one survey even showing him outpolling his opponents three-to-one.
