A school shooting at the Arkansas State University ended this afternoon before it even began.
The University tweeted out this afternoon that a gunman was spotted in the Student Union building on campus.

Within minutes though the campus tweeted again that the gunman was surrounded by police, no shots had been fired, and the campus is on lockdown.
The individual with a weapon has been surrounded by police. No shots have been fired, no reported injuries.

According to student’s twitter accounts the gunman is sitting in his truck with propane tanks rigged to the back. The shooter is threatening to blow up his truck and kill himself.

Apparently the school had trained campus security for an active shooter situation earlier this week.

The situation is still active but apparently no students were hurt and the gunman is surrounded by police. When you need a good guy with a gun, nothing else will do.
