Liberals and progressives are finally done mourning the results of the election and decided to convene and start a revolution under the guise of what they call “Resistance School.”
Resistance School was created by progressive graduate students at Harvard with help from members of the Obama, Bernie, and Hillary presidential election campaigns to teach liberals how to resist President Trump. And to the theme of Harry Potter, the president was treated like Voldemort in which he was referred to as “He who shall not be named.”

“Resistance is important. It’s essential, but it’s not enough,” Timothy McCarthy, a Harvard Kennedy school professor, said during the class. “It’s also not about [Trump].”
While there were some glimmers of hope in which McCarthy advocated for liberals to go to Trump country and learn from the other side, it was mostly an opportunity for liberals to double down on identity politics and defining what makes them different. Additionally, conservative policies are to blame and will only regress society back to the time of the nation’s founding.
McCarthy continued by noting that the Left’s new mantra is “here we are again” to piggyback off of “Make America Great Again” because they’re back to fighting for the same things they thought they won.
“We can’t cede history and freedom to the right while they’re taking it away. The right are changing the definition of freedom.”
By all measures, the lecture was fairly tame. The first class was devoted to communicating progressive values to others, whether they be conservative, libertarian, or generally apathetic to politics. But above all, their message remains clear that they will protest and resist Trump’s presidency in every corner of the country.
“This is our moment to be bigger, bolder, and braver than we ever have before,” McCarthy concluded. “May we rise to this opportunity. May we resist with everything we have in our being.”
