Skipping school has never been made to look so utterly unappealing, a new faux public service announcement has proven.

Created by comedians and filmmakers Henry and Aaron under the guise of being a PSA for the Learn for Life Foundation of Western Australia, the video tries to serve as a deterrent to students who may be looking to cut out of class. The fake attempt to promote the importance of education, however, is horribly disturbing and troublesome.
The ad opens with four students — two male and two female — busting out of school and heading to the beach. Clad in bathing suits, the foursome spends the day frolicking in the ocean waves, laughter and relaxation aplenty. One of the female student beckons to her crush to follow her up the beach, and that’s when what would have been a perfect day goes horribly, horribly wrong.
Unfortunately for the students, they spent the day at an explosive testing site, and as the devastating PSA closes, the words “This is what happens when you slack off” appear.
Check out the ad below. Warning, the video is extremely graphic and violent, and NSFW.
