A student at Chicago University was arrested on Monday after he posted a a threat online over the weekend to shoot people on the campus’ quad.

Jabari R. Dean was taken into custody after posting on the comment section of a World Star HipHop article that he would kill 16 white people on the campus of Chicago University out of vengeance for the death of Laquan McDonald, reported Heavy.com.

McDonald was killed on November 24th, shot 16 times by Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke.

“This is my only warning. At 10 a.m. on Monday mourning (sic) I am going to the campus quad of the University of Chicago,” Dean wrote in his post according to court documents. “I will be armed with a M-4 Carbine and two Desert Eagles all fully loaded. I will execute aproximately (sic) 16 white male students and or staff, which is the same number of time (sic) McDonald was killed.”

After murdering innocent white staff and students, the would-be mass murderer hoped to be gunned down in a blaze of glory, taking any cops with him that he could.

“I then will die killing any number of white policemen in the process. This is not a joke. I am to do my part and rid the world of the white devils. I expect you to do the same,” Dean continued in his post.

FBI agents were able to track Dean through an anonymous tip and searched his service provider.

According to Chicago Tribune reporter Jason Meisner, the 21-year old engineering student had no means to carry out his threat and will receive bond.

Dean is not the only student who has threatened a race-based attack on a college campus. In November alone, a pair of white men were arrested for threatening to kill black students at the University of Missouri. In Western Washington University a 19-year old was arrested for threatening to kill blacks, American Indian, and Muslim students. At Saginaw Valley State University, a 21-year old black student was arrested for posing as a white student on Yik Yak and threatening to kill ‘every black person’ on campus.
