Chuck Norris delivers a swift roundhouse kick to ‘secular progressive indoctrination camps’

In a recent column written for Townhall.com, famous actor, roundhouse kick legend and indestructible folk hero Chuck Norris weighed in on the Connecticut student who was recently blocked from conservative websites at his high school.

Norris used the situation to voice his disapproval of public education, and its decline in recent years.

“A high school’s prohibiting conservative views isn’t shocking to any of us who for decades have watched the dilapidating state of public education,” Norris wrote. “It’s just one more sign that public schools are little more than secular progressive indoctrination camps.”

Norris made the case that true education “doesn’t fear alternative views or even falsehoods.” Norris remarked that this was the intent of the Founding Fathers. He specifically drew from Thomas Jefferson, who preached the “illimitable freedom of the human mind.”

“Regardless of whether our views define truth and reality, an open education is about presenting every side of the coin — no matter how ignorant or idiotic we believe another’s views are or appear to be,” he wrote.

Norris concluded that current state of public education has “reduced education to nothing more than tyranny and indoctrination.”
