On the eve of summer and with the subsequent uptake in tourists, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” has brought back “Foreigner or Not.”
The game is simple: Host Jimmy Kimmel dispatches Cousin Sal to the streets of Los Angeles, who then picks out passers-by. These contestants are not allowed to speak while Kimmel guesses if they are foreign solely on the person’s appearance. The contestant then pulls out a flag to reveal their home country.

And all the contestants get an apple pie no matter what, so everybody wins.
Kimmel likes to use the person’s shoes as tip-off, but that strategy worked to no avail Tuesday night.
Seeing a pair of “Encore” brand shoes and skinny jeans, for example, Jimmy guessed one male contestant on the game couldn’t possibly be American. If he was, he was a “well-dressed” one, as Kimmel joked.
