Is Ted Cruz the most awkward candidate ever? [VIDEO]

Indiana has been a rough state for Sen. Ted Cruz. Not only is he down by double digits in some polls, but the campaign trail has also brought out the senator’s true awkwardness in dealing with people and unplanned situations.

Cruz has been trolled throughout the state. On Tuesday a young man asked to shake his hand but when the senator reached out to him, he yelled “too slow Joe.”

Then there were the campaign events on Monday where Cruz had a lengthy exchange with several Trump supporters who asked if he was born in Canada, where his Goldman Sachs jacket was, and repeatedly called him “Lyin’ Ted.”

While the senator was taking repeated verbal abuse, the only answer he could muster was to show some respect.

Carly Fiorina was supposed to help humanize him, but if it’s possible, she has made Cruz’s odd behavior even more evident.

There was her fall while introducing Cruz and his family at a campaign rally on Monday. While this could have happened to anyone, the Texas senator did not rush to help his second-in-command.

“Even I would have helped her,” said Trump, mocking Cruz’s odd response.

Fiorina and Cruz were never an easy fit. During their announcement speech the pair couldn’t even hold hands together and lift them in the air as a sign of unity. It’s as uncomfortable as watching a divorced couple telling their kids that it’s not their fault.
