Jesse Watters gets hilarious responses from Sanders supporters

In the spirit of Bernie Sanders having “captured the imagination of some younger Americans,” Bill O’Reilly sent out Jesse Watters to talk to some of those younger Americans, at the University of Oregon, “to explore the Sanders phenomenon.”

As is usually the case with Watters World segments for The O’Reilly Factor, the responses are both cringe worthy and hilarious.

Watters conveniently happened to find someone who was majoring in Women and Gender Studies, and others who confused Sanders’ political status, believing him to be a Congressman.

When one supporter was asked what policies she supports, she sighed that “that’s so hard to like, pinpoint.”

Others cited his healthcare policy, free college and redistribution of wealth, though were unable to so effectively explain how that would work.

One supporter was asked what a Democratic-Socialist actually means, and responded with “I definitely think that it’s not as terrifying as everyone actually thinks it is.” Another pointed out that it’s something we need more of, though she was quiet when Watters mentioned the failed example of Venezuela.

Another, of course, pointed to how well it’s working out in Sweden. Even though they didn’t send a man to the moon.
