Portland Community College will be celebrating “Whiteness History Month” in April, but it won’t talk about the accomplishments of white Americans like George Washington, Bill Gates, and Thomas Edison.

Basically it’s to allow the school — 68 percent of the students are white — to soak in their guilt of being born caucasian.
“The intent was to look at whiteness as a social construct,” said Kate Chester, PCC spokeswoman, to WaPo.
Because really that’s all white people and anything they accomplish are — the product of a social construct created by a social construct for the preservation and advancement of a social construct.
“It’s complex, and people can latch onto ‘white’ instead of ‘whiteness,’ and it can become personalized and polarized,” the spokeswoman continued. “So it’s complex. It’s controversial. It’s a sensitive issue.”
By examining white people through the guise of liberalism, progressives can hope to dismantle the notion of race, just like feminism has attempted to destroy the biological influences surrounding gender.
Chester insisted that the events are not intended to shame anyone but on the school’s website it made it clear that it will not be celebrating the accomplishments of white people, like Black History month does.
Because white people are only responsible for the inventions of everything from the television to toilet paper, generals who have won wars, and founding of the U.S. What’s to celebrate?
