Marco Rubio asked to ‘spit rap lyrics’; declines because all the raps he knows are too profane

Marco Rubio, friend of Pitbull, fan of explicit 90s rap lyrics and Nick Minaj, and 2016 presidential candidate, has sadly declined an offer to perform his lyric-spitting talents on live TV.

“I read in the Washington Post that your staff in 2010 was very impressed that you could spit rap lyrics. I was hoping that we could get a demonstration,” MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt prompted during Rubio’s “Morning Joe” interview Tuesday.

“No we’re not, no we’re not,” he said, laughing. “Because the ones that I know from the 90s are not—they’d all be censored anyway.”

“There are a couple modern artists that I really like,” he conceded. “I like Nicki Minaj. I think she’s very talented, and Pitbull’s become a friend and someone from Miami that we’re very proud of,” he said.

“Is he going to come to your announcement?” Hunt asked.

“Yeah, he’s in China I think, so it’s, long trip, but he’s Mr. Worldwide,” Rubio replied.
