Former IRS official Lois Lerner tried darting into a neighbor’s home to avoid an “ambush interview” from a conservative journalist, a new video shows.
Taken Sept. 29, the video shows Jason Mattera tracking down Lerner in her neighborhood outside the nation’s capital to ask repeatedly if she’d like to apologize or comment on the IRS tea party targeting scandal that forced her out of her agency job. The controversial official jogged up a neighbor’s front yard and knocked on the front door to evade the questioning. Mattera persisted. Lerner insisted.
