A China Eastern Airlines plane carrying 132 people crashed in the province of Guangxi on Monday, Chinese state media report.

The Chinese airliner is reportedly a Boeing 737-800, and it crashed near the city of Wuzhou in southern China, according to state media outlet CCTV. Rescuers had been dispatched to the scene, and there was no word on the number of deaths or injuries.
