The University of Oklahoma students and staff received a letter Tuesday saying they will no longer be allowed to access the social media app TikTok on campus.
The university announced it was banning the app following Gov. Kevin Stitt’s Dec. 8 executive order that barred the app from state-owned and state-leased devices.
