Musk argues far Left ‘hates everyone, themselves included’

Those on the far Left hate everyone, said Tesla and SpaceX CEO and new Twitter owner Elon Musk on Friday.

The 50-year-old, who is widely recognized as the world’s wealthiest man, took to the social media platform to share the sentiment shortly after his $44 billion takeover of the company.

“The far left hates everyone, themselves included!” he tweeted.

Minutes later, the billionaire added context to the statement.

“But I’m no fan of the far right either,” he added. “Let’s have less hate and more love.”

However, the Friday morning tweets were not Musk’s first step into political commentary.

He came under fire on Thursday for sharing a graphic demonstrating a drastic shift in left-wing positions since 2008.

He then appeared to explain the graphic in a follow-up tweet.

“I strongly supported Obama for President, but today’s Democratic Party has been hijacked by extremists,” he posted.

Twitter agreed to sell the company for $44 billion to Musk earlier this week.

“Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated,” Musk said.

“I also want to make Twitter better than ever by enhancing the product with new features, making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spam bots, and authenticating all humans. Twitter has tremendous potential – I look forward to working with the company and the community of users to unlock it.”
