The Jackson, Michigan, campaign office of Rep. Tim Walberg (R) was vandalized on Tuesday night, while activists claiming to be affiliated with the far-left abortion advocacy group Jane’s Revenge said they were behind an attack on the broader building.
Images of the damage released by Walberg’s campaign show a smashed window, a damaged door, and broken glass littered on the ground inside and outside of the office. Additionally, a sign appeared to have been defaced with “JANE’S REVENGE” spray-painted in pink.

Walberg, who identifies as anti-abortion and has a record consistent with that, lambasted the vandals as “domestic terrorists” in a Wednesday statement publicly announcing the incident.

Walberg’s campaign office shares the building it occupies with Jackson Right to Life, a local anti-abortion organization. The congressman’s campaign attributed the vandalism to a wave of recent assaults on anti-abortion organizations and crisis pregnancy centers allegedly carried out by Jane’s Revenge, calling out the Biden administration and Democrats in Congress for refusing to repudiate the attacks.
Walberg Jackson office vandalism“It is shameful that President Biden and Speaker Pelosi have both refused to condemn these intimidation tactics from radical pro-abortion activists,” the congressman said. “This wave of violence across the country against pro-life organizations and individuals has got to stop.”

Declaring “open season” on anti-abortion groups earlier this month, Jane’s Revenge has claimed responsibility for numerous recent attacks, including the vandalism of crisis pregnancy centers in Maryland, Washington, D.C., North Carolina, and Washington state. A coalition of Republican senators recently wrote a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland urging the Department of Justice to step up its efforts to protect anti-abortion groups from violent attacks.
The increase in violence against anti-abortion organizations comes as the Supreme Court prepares to issue a ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, in which it seems poised to overturn the landmark Roe v. Wade decision establishing a constitutional right to abortion.
