We did just that at the National Journal’s Energy Policy Breakfast, which was held Tuesday at Union Station’s Columbus Club. There, Obama campaign senior energy policy adviser Elgie Holstein debated McCain’s senior policy adviser Douglas Holtz-Eakin on all sorts of issues. Surprisingly, Holstein paid some respect to his political opponent.
“It is not a job I personally would want to do at his age,” Holstein told Yeas & Nays, “but he certainly shows all signs of being vigorous, and I don’t take anything away from him on that score.”
