5 Miami at No. 21 Kansas State » A player to watch is Hurricanes freshman Duke Johnson, who ripped off touchdown runs of 54 and 56 yards in a 41-32 win at Boston College. The Wildcats counter with quarterback Collin Klein, a revelation last year when he led KSU to 10 wins, and John Hubert, who rolled for 166 yards last week vs. Missouri State, inspiring comparisons to Darren Sproles. 2 No. 16 Nebraska at UCLA » This is a homecoming for Huskers quarterback Taylor Martinez, a Southern Californian who hopes this is his first of two games at the Rose Bowl. Already a proven runner, he completed 26 of 34 passes for 354 yards and five touchdowns vs. Southern Miss last week. UCLA’s Johnathan Franklin rushed for 214 yards at Rice for new coach Jim Mora Jr. (Saturday, 7:30 p.m., Fox)
1 No. 7 Georgia at Missouri » It’s a tough assignment for the Bulldogs, facing the fired-up Tigers in the Show Me State in their first game in the SEC. These are strange bedfellows. The last time they met was in the 1960 Orange Bowl. The Tigers have one player from Georgia. The Bulldogs don’t have anyone from Missouri. Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray is the player to watch.
