Georgetown scored its fewest points of head coach John Thompson III’s tenure against Temple (46 points). They’ve scored less than 50 points only three times in Thompson’s six seasons. Coached by former Hoya Horace Broadnax, the Tigers were beaten, 100-38, last year at Verizon Center, giving Georgetown its biggest margin of victory in 19 years.
