No, today is the long-awaited day that Jenna Bush’s first book, “Ana’s Story,” hits bookstore shelves.
The book, aimed at “young adult” readers, tells the story of a woman Jenna met while she was an intern for UNICEF in 2006. Ana was born with HIV and had a child at age 17.

“I met with Ana for more than six months and listened to the melody and lyrics of her life,” Jenna writes in a letter to close the book. “We sat on a porch watching the day go by, or in her small living room, or in a café as she recounted these lyrics. This is her story — her song — not mine.”
In lieu of an appendix, Jenna includes sections on how to make a difference for children around the world, how to protect yourself from HIV, “ten myths about HIV/AIDS” and “discussion questions,” ostensibly for teachers who want to use the book in class.
Jenna’s recent marriage proposal by longtime beau Henry Hager illuminates her shout-out to “my patient Henry” in the book’s acknowledgments section. She also thanks her “amazing parents.”
Currently selling for $12.91 on Amazon.com, Jenna’sbook ranks No. 2,083.
She’ll have a book party here Oct. 5, although Chris Matthews celebrates the 10th anniversary of “Hardball” the same night, which will surely give fits to well-connected Washingtonians.
And while we’re on the topic, the happy couple may already have a location picked out for the big day. Speaking to Fox News’ Bret Baier, first lady Laura Bush said they’re “leaning” toward holding the wedding “probably at home” in Texas.
