Scotty Hopson
After the suspension of four rotation players for weapons and drug charges, the Tennessee G (13.7 ppg) will carry a heavy load as the Vols (11-2) host Kansas (14-0) Saturday on CBS. KU is led by Xavier Henry (16.1) and Sherron Collins (15.1 ppg).
Luke Harangody
The nation’s No. 2 scorer at 25 ppg leads Notre Dame (13-3) against visiting West Virginia (11-1) Saturday in a battle of skill vs. athleticism. The 6-8 Harrangody teams with another 6-8 forward, Tim Abromaitis (15.3 ppg), also with 3-point range.

The 6-10 Wisconsin junior scored 21 points Tuesday, but didn’t get much help as the Badgers shot 33 percent and had a season-low output in a 54-47 loss at Michigan St. Wisconsin (12-3) tries to find the range Saturday against visiting Purdue (14-0).
Jimmer Fredette
The BYU junior G averages 20.7 points and 5.3 assists per game, leading a Cougars (15-1) squad that plays at UTEP (10-3) Saturday. BYU beat tough UNLV, 77-73, Tuesday, despite Fredette’s bout with strep throat, as G Jonathan Tavernari scored 17.
Gani Lawal
The 6-9 Georgia Tech junior delayed his entry into the NBA for games like this – Saturday against visiting Duke (13-1). Tech (11-3) and Lawal (15.3 ppg, 9.4 rpg) will battle the potent Duke trio of G Jon Scheyer, G Nolan Smith, and F Kyle Singler.
