But Washington still has holes to fill on roster
ASHBURN – The Redskins managed to find a pass rusher and cornerback depth. What they didn’t find was a strongside linebacker or a right tackle.

So they may be forced to look inward for those answers.
The Redskins said their right tackle position will be filled by Stephon Heyer or Jon Jansen. They also view newly-signed Mike Williams as a possibility. His presence prompted Washington to look at other positions later in the draft.
“When we signed Mike the other day, the way he looked at the workout, that kind of helped that,” Redskins executive vice president Vinny Cerrato said. “We put him in the mix at right tackle.”
However, Williams, the fourth overall pick in 2002, has not played since 2005 and was widely considered a bust. He’s been living with Redskins guard Derrick Dockery, a former teammate at the University of Texas.
Redskins coach Jim Zorn said Williams weighs 410 pounds.
“He is two guys standing side by side with their arms around each other,” Zorn said. “That’s how wide he is.”
Williams will not participate in this weekend’s minicamp, instead focusing on getting in shape.
As for the strongside linebacker spot, Washington has a couple alternatives. Weakside ‘backer Rocky McIntosh could be switched there. Or they could target free agent Leroy Hill and put him at one of the outside spots. But Hill, who had the franchise tag taken off him by Seattle this weekend, is too expensive for Washington at this point. First-round pick Brian Orakpo, an end in college, will see some time at the strongside, too to see if he could handle that role in addition to rushing as an end.
