Redskins GM Allen learns first ‘cuss’ word from Halas

Redskins general manager Bruce Allen doesn’t like anonymous sources (our response: just tell us everything and there’s no need), thinks names should be taken off the backs of jerseys and looks “forward to Thanksgiving in Dallas as long as Jerry Jones doesn’t make Clint Longley the honorary captain.”

That’s what we learned as Allen served as the guest columnist for Peter King’s Monday Morning Quarterback on SI.com on Monday.

But his best part was a story about former Chicago Bears coach George Halas teaching him his first “cuss” word while in the car with his father.

“?’You can only use this word on a really bad person, someone you really hate or who did something very, very bad.’ He then made me acknowledge that I understood, to which I responded: ‘Yes, Coach!’ After what seemed like the longest minute ever, he turned around and said one word with an intensity that I had never seen: ‘PACKER.’?”

We’re guessing Allen would now change it to “COWBOY.”
