Onetime teen pop idol and current Broadway diva Debbie (sorry, Deborah) Gibson was the star at Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America Monday afternoon.

The brain behind such songs as “Lost in Your Eyes” and “Out of the Blue” stayed at the Hotel Monaco and shared lunch at Central with PhRMA Senior Vice President Ken Johnson before heading to the drug lobby’s downtown offices to tape an episode of its new TV show, “Sharing Miracles,” which is syndicated in 17 market on Sunday mornings.

In this episode, PhRMA Chief Executive Officer Billy Tauzin interviewed Gibson about her struggles with anxiety.

The first episode featured former White House press secretary Tony Snow and future shows will highlight “Leave It to Beaver” star Jerry Mathers, TV host Montel Williams and Telemundo’s Mayte Prida, among others.
