Baltimore doubled-dipped on teammates in the 2006 collegiate draft. The Bayhawks took Kyle Dixon (2nd overall) and Matt Ward (4th) from the University of Virginia, and from the University of Maryland they grabbed Brendan Healy (5th) and Bill McGlone (13th).
Dixon has been sidelined with a hand injury, and has not been able to join Ward on the field. Healy and McGlone, however, have played midfield in all five games with Baltimore since the draft.

After their debut against Denver, coach Scott Hiller said, “Healy and McGlone were definitely a bright spot.”
“We had high hopes going into the final four weekend,” McGlone said. “We reminisced about our college career, but never talked about being on the same [MLL] team.”
McGlone said because the nature of the league, most of the play is unscripted and it is important to know where your teammates are on the field.
“The more you getto know your players the more you know their tendencies,” McGlone said. Playing four years together at Maryland, Healy and McGlone know each other on the field.
“We can play off each other, we know how each other work,” McGlone said. “And we know how to make each other as effective and have the most impact as possible.”
“It could not have worked out more perfect for us to continue to play together in pretty much, our hometown,” said McGlone.
Bayhawks veteran attackman Mark Millon sees a lot of potential in the two midfielders. “They are playing well, but it is going to take a while for them to get their feet wet,” Millon said.
