This weekend’s hottest sports ticket was the annual Bobby Mitchell/Toyota Hall of Fame Golf Classic at Lansdowne Resort, as the Redskins great brought together 40 of his fellow Hall of Famers to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
But what was the hottest ticket for the players themselves? That was at Mitchell’s house Thursday night, asthe 73-year-old cooked for his Hall of Fame peers.

“A little bit of everything,” replied Cleveland Browns great Leroy Kelly, when we asked what Mitchell dished up. “Chitterlings, pigs feet.”
But the award for the biggest appetite could have gone to Darrell Green, who will enter the Hall of Fame this year along with fellow ’Skin Art Monk.
“Last night I was sitting next to Darrell, and he tried to eat up everything in my house,” Mitchell said.
