U.S. Ambassador to New Zealand Bill McCormick hosted a reunion of his former embassy staffers at the downtown McCormick & Schmick’s on Tuesday night. (Couldn’t have been hard to get a reservation — he founded the restaurant chain.) He was in town for some State Department meetings and a Wednesday dinner with New Zealand’s ambassador to the U.S., Roy Ferguson.
