UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) — Defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky has agreed to a two-year contract extension with the New York Islanders.
Visnovsky has nine points (three goals, six assists) in 22 games with the Islanders this season.

He was acquired on June 22, 2012, from the Anaheim Ducks for a second-round pick in the 2013 draft.
