Stephen Colbert not only brings bodies into the National Portrait Gallery. He brings ’em into church, too.
After we reported last week that Colbert’s portrait had boosted attendance at the Smithsonian museum, a reader who attends St. Cassian’s Roman Catholic Church in Upper Montclair, N.J. — where Colbert teaches Sunday school — tells us, “Attendance at our church is just skyrocketing because of Stephen! It is just mind-boggling!”
