Shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday, we noticed two Secret Service cars outside Nathans of Georgetown. Further inspection revealed Vice President Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld, their wives, the Cheneys’ daughter Mary and former CNN journo Eileen O’Connor.
Turns out the group had just returned from the Eastern Shore and was being hosted by David Hume Kennerly, whose photographs adorn Nathans’ dining room. We hear Cheney and Rummy took a gander at their pics before dinner.
