BOSTON (AP) — The Boston Bruins will be without suspended defenseman Andrew Ference for their next playoff game.
The NHL has suspended Ference for Saturday night’s second game for his hit on Toronto Maple Leafs center Mikhail Grabovski early in the series opener Wednesday night. The Bruins won that game 4-1.

The suspension comes after an NHL hearing Thursday.
Ference would be eligible to come back for Game 3 of the best-of-seven series in Toronto on Monday night.
His early hit on Grabovski was part of a physical game. After it ended, players stayed on the ice and exchanged shoves before quickly being separated.
