SS LaRon Landry For some reason he’s waiting to have surgery despite being told it’s necessary by multiple doctors. The Redskins want Landry back, but there’s no way you can count on him. He will have to settle for a one-year deal for less than he desires.

He struggled, partly because of various leg issues. The coaches liked how he played earlier in the year when he was healthy. However, he’s not fast and did not prevent many big plays. He will be only 31 in June, but some teams felt he was done two years ago.
DE Adam Carriker
The free agent was consistent this season, his second in the 3-4. He’s a good fit at end. Though he wants to return, he’s also just as concerned with receiving a good offer and not losing a lot of playing time when defensive end Jarvis Jenkins plays next season.
LB London Fletcher
At some point Fletcher will slow down, which is why a big contract will be difficult to offer. Tackle stats can be misleading, but Fletcher led the league in part because of his desire to stop the ball. It would be hard to replace his intangibles.
DE Kedric Golston
The sixth-year end is a free agent coming off knee surgery. But he will have to decide whether he wants to return to Washington, where he likes playing, as a fourth end or go elsewhere to receive more time. He had a solid year before getting hurt.
