» Watching Kaeding kick is like watching a great golfer use his wedge; he’s just smooth and effortless. Nice to see what a real kicker looks like.

» Campbell is ending the year as it began, with a lot of high throws to Santana Moss. But they’re at least catchable and Moss is coming down with them.

» Zorn looks more fired up in this fourth quarter than he has been in a while. Reminds me of early last season when he showed a lot of passion. He knows this is his last game and he wants to win. Can’t blame him.

» The Chargers sent a safety at Jason Campbell on a first and 10 in which nobody looked at him. Tackle Levi Jones looked inside, where the end stunted to the middle. He never looked outside to see the safety, who forced Campbell to throw sooner than desired. Cost him a chance at a big play to Antwaan Randle El.

» Just not a lot of guys you can count on up front. It’s why the Redskins will need maybe four new starters along the offensive line. It’s inexcusable to have a false start on a fourth and 1 in that situation.

» It’s funny how Davis’ game has progressed today; he’s made some nice catches and athletic runs.

» The Redskins have shown in the last few minutes why they don’t win games; Dockery jumping early and then Justin Tryon dropping an interception right in his hands. Sums up this season. Surely, this stuff has to look familiar to Norv Turner, who endured some of these same issues in Washington.

» Rock McIntosh appeared to be the guy who failed to cover Mike Tolbert on the touchdown pass. Seemed like he got caught up in traffic and maybe had his eyes looking elsewhere for a second. A good call by Norv Turner.
