As the new look Washington Redskins are set to face the Buffalo Bills the radio and TV broadcast crews are getting ready bring fans all the action. There are also a few changes to look forward to as the preseason kicks off at Fed Ex Field.

The game can be seen on both NBC4 as well as on Comcast SportsNet in high definition. It will also be seen live nationally on the NFL Network. Game time is 7:30pm

The broadcast crew for Redskins TV is led by Fox Sports play by play man and local favorite Kenny Albert and he will be joined by lead analyst and former Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann they will call all the action tonight from the booth. New to the broadcast team this year the popular ESPN 980AM broadcaster and former Redskin Rick “Doc” Walker. Doc will provide in-game reporting from the sidelines.

Next week Mike Patrick will handle play-by-play duties for Albert when the Redskins host the Baltimore Ravens at FedEx Field on Aug. 21.

Chick Hernandez, will handle Redskins Pre Game LIVE at 6:30pm and after the game Redskins Post Game Live as always and he will be joined by his award winning team led by feature reporter Kelli Johnson and analysis Brian Mitchell, Trevor Matich and Antonio Freeman.

On the radio side Kevin Sheehan hosts pregame the award winning Redskins Tailgate show three hours prior to kickoff on ESPN980AM and ESPN980.COM as well as the entire Washington Redskins radio network. As usual Sheehan will be joined a cast of thousands making for one of the most entertaining and informative pregame shows in the NFL.

As always the trio of Sonny Jurgensen , Sam Huff  and play-by-play man Larry Michael will be in the broadcast booth for all of the Redskins games on radio. As we said  Doc Walker is on the preseason TV broadcast  team but during the regular season he will handle the sideline reporting and Chris Russell will handle score up dates along with halftime duties. Something new this year there will not be an audio delay. Having said that those wanting to watch the games on TV while listening to the games on the radio may have to use your DVR to slow things down and sync up the audio.

106.7 The Fan will also offer a three pregame and post game show called “ Washington Game Day Uncensored” this week the first two hours will be anchored by LaVar Arrington and Bill Rohland then the final hour before kickoff will belongs to The Sports Junkies.
