Chien-Ming Wang could be with the Nationals by this time next week (Video)

It seems like the Washington Nationals have pulled into the lead for former Yankee right handed pitcher Chien-Ming Wang. According a number of sources, the deal Washington is offering is worth $2 million dollars for one year with a boat load of incentives.

Two major league scouts I spoke to felt that if Wang’s arm is back anywhere near normal, that the Nat’s just might be getting the steal of the offseason.

His numbers over five years with the Yankees were 55-26 while sporting a 4.16 ERA.

As a matter of fact, in his injury plagued season of 2009, his 1-6 mark was his only losing season with New York.

Wang, who is rehabbing, could be in the rotation by May if signed by the Nationals.
