Graner was later convicted of offenses that included stacking the prisoners into a pyramid, knocking one of them out with a head punch and ordering prisoners to masturbate while soldiers took pictures. He was released Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 from a military prison after serving more than 6½ years of a 10-year sentence, an Army spokeswoman said.
