U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder on Tuesday claimed that he never received any of the memos about Operation “Fast and Furious,” that were sent to him dating back to July 2010.
Last month, Congressional investigators released five memos they uncovered, which were addressed to Holder and briefed him on the program which allowed guns to “walk” into the hands of Mexican drug lords.

Under grilling from Sen. John Cornyn during his Senate Judiciary committee testimony, Holder claimed that though the memos had his name on them, he never received them because his staff made the determination that they did not warrent his attention.
Asked if he had any regrets about his own handling of “Fast and Furious,” Holder declined to mantion any mistakes he made, instead saying that he acted responsibly.
Holder also refused to apologize for the death of U.S. border agent Brian Terry, saying that “It’s not fair to suggest” the Fast and Furious program “led to the death of Agent Terry.”
At least two guns recovered at the murder scene of Terry were traced back to the Fast and Furious program.
