American troops assigned to United Nations peacekeeping units have hit a record low despite President Obama’s promise to help out, according to a new Pew Research Center report.

At a time when there are a record 100,000-plus United Nation’s troops deployed around the world, there are currently just 76 members of the military wearing the U.N.’s blue helmets, though the U.S. continues to be at the top of nation’s funding the world group.
