A school bus crash this morning at Windsor Mill Road and Mayfield Avenue sent 13 children and one adult to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, Baltimore County fire officials said.
A school bus carrying about 30 children to McDonogh Day Camp reportedly collided with a Cadillac at about 8:30 this morning.
Six medic units responded to the scene. Nine children were taken to Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and four were taken to Northwest Hospital, fire officials said.
An adult female was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for observation.
Bus driver Jennifer Demos, who travels with her 2-year-old daughter Jocelyn in tow, was not injured.
“Jocelyn rides with me every day,” Demos said. “She sits in a car seat, and she wasn’t hurt.”
