KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) — An international media organization is calling for authorities in Barbados to drop criminal indecency charges against three journalists.
The Vienna-based International Press Institute says the publisher, editor-in-chief and a senior reporter at the Nation newspaper face up to five years in prison due to the publication of an image showing two minors having sex. The journalists have been charged with violating child protection laws.
