Gas prices: Another day of decreases at pumps as costs keep trending downward

Gas prices dropped again on Wednesday, marking another week in which the average cost for a gallon of regular gas has decreased. Prices are now about a nickel per gallon less than a month ago.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in the United States dropped to $3.459 on Wednesday, according to AAA. This was a slight decrease from Tuesday, when it cost $3.462 for a gallon of regular gas. Prices are also cheaper now than from a week ago.
