U.S. marshals fugitive task force members are looking for a D.C. man accused of using a kitchen knife to stab another man during a neighborhood dispute in Southwest Washington. Police said on Jan. 17, DeAngelo Thomas approached the victim in the hallway of an apartment complex on P Street, a block from Nationals Park. Thomas, 23, pulled out a kitchen knife and stuck the victim in the lower abdomen, telling his target that the victim’s brother was a snitch and had been talking to the police.
Thomas is wanted by D.C. police on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, and marshals deputies said this was Thomas’ third assault charge.
“Thomas began his criminal career as a drug dealer but has become more violent over the recent years,” said task force member and D.C. police officer Jack Reese. “It is important that we get Thomas off the streets immediately before he puts another life in danger.”
Thomas, who is also known as Delo, is listed as 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. His most recent address was on P Street SW, just off South Capitol Street.
Anyone with information on DeAngelo Thomas’ whereabouts can call the U.S. Marshals Service at 301-489-1717 or 800-336-0102.
