Former school to turn into DC police building

WASHINGTON (AP) — A former middle school building in Washington is going to be transformed into a new district headquarters for D.C. police.

Mayor Vincent Gray and Police Chief Cathy Lanier will announce the beginning of the construction project on Friday.
