Marshals deputies have captured Momoh once after he failed to show up to court for the armed carjacking in November 2008. He was released on bond but failed to show up for court again in 2010. Momoh hasn’t been seen since.
“We caught him once, and we’ll catch him again,” said Matt Burke, supervisory inspector for the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force. “We want to keep the pressure on and let him know we’re still looking.”
Momoh has lived in Rockville, Silver Spring and Bladensburg. He may have fled back to his place of birth in Sierra Leone.
He is listed as 5-foot-8 and 130 pounds. He has a large tattoo on his back of the continent of Africa with a crown on top of it. He uses an alias birthday of April 2, 1985.
